According to the Arizona Department of Gaming, Arizona bettors wagered nearly $650 million on sports in October 2023.

The $648.2 million (£512 million/€590 million) deposited by bettors in Arizona was a 4.8% increase compared to October last year. Compared to September, the value also rose by 6.2%.

The October 2023 deal only includes the $691 million in bets accepted in March 2022.

Nearly 99% of Arizona’s betting revenue came from mobile betting, with just $5.4 million coming from retail betting. It was the seventh time this year that betting turnover exceeded the $600 million mark.

DraftKings and FanDuel generated nearly identical mobile gaming revenue, each reporting about $220 million in October. FanDuel was also the largest retail bookmaker with revenue of $2.1 million.

After deducting these free bets, adjusted gross event betting revenue was $33.0 million. This was slightly higher than in September.
